Haojing Lai won the second prize in the Graduate Student Academic Fair jointly organized by the School of Physics and Astronomy and Tsung-Dao Lee Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He gave a presentation on the study of cosmogenic secondary particles in the first oscillation measurement of JUNO.

JUNO Group B Analysis Workshop was held at SJTU in January 15-17, 2026. Participants include students, postdocs, and faculties from JINR, NKU, XJTU, SYSU, NJU, THU, Subatech, SDU, and SJTU.

Haojing Lai won the annual outstanding student award of MOE Key Laboratory for Astroparticle Physics and Cosmology.

On November 19, JUNO released its first neutrino oscillation results, achieving the world's best precision on \theta_{12} and \Delta m^2_{21} measurements. SJTU led one of the three independent analysis groups in the collaboration (news release).

Dr. Roni Dey joined our group as a postdoc working on the PandaX experiment (a joint appointment with Prof. Jianglai Liu). He received his PhD from Homi Bhabha National Institute (Deemed University) and Bhabha AtomicResearch Centre (India) in 2024, and worked as a postdoc fellowship at National Institute of Science Education and Research (India) in 2024-2025. His research focused on experimental studies of neutrinos.

Zhangming Chen, Junjie Jiang, YuanhaoZhao and Xuanye Fu presented a poster with the title Optical Imaging of Particle Tracks in Scintillators at the Particle Physics on Tabletops (PPTT) Conference in Chendu (September 1-5, 2025).

Our veto group presented three posters and one talk on the PandaX veto system at the TAUP 2025 Conference in Xichang (August 24-30, 2025).

Xuanye Fu received his bachelor's degree on June 25, 2025 from Zhiyuan Honors Program, an elite undergraduate program at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He studied the transparency and light yield of cold liquid scintillator for his undergraduate thesis.

Xuanye, Yuanhao and Junting participated the Key Laboratory Open House at the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute on May 18, 2025. They demonstrated the existence of cosmic muons to the public using two plastic scintillator detectors and an oscilloscope.

The third NNXSSST workshop was held in Nankai University on April 2-3, 2025, to boost the discussions on the physics analysis in JUNO.

Zhangming Chen was selected into the prestigious Tsung-Dao Lee PhD Program in 2024.

Dr. Junjie Jiang received the prestigious Super Postdoc Fellowship in November, 2024.

As of November 21, 2024, the 270 photomultiplier tubes installed in the PandaX veto detector have all been equipped with the readout and high voltage. Previously, with 128 channels, we have successfully observed muons and coincident events between the veto detector and the liquid xenon TPC. Now the channel number has been roughly doubled.

We held the NNXSSST workshop in Qingdao on November 2-3, 2024, with participants from seven universities, discussing analysis topics in JUNO.

Dr. Junjie Jiang joined the group as a postdoc. Junjie received her PhD in experimental particle physics (T2K, SuperK and DUNE) from Stony Brook University in May 2024. She will be working on JUNO and PandaX experiments.

Arran Freegard won Shanghai Super Postdoc Fellowship working on JUNO experiment.

Graduate student Ping is helping building a veto detector for the PandaX experiment.

Arran received his PhD in early 2023 from the University of Southampton. He joined our group in April 2023 as a postdoc working on JUNO.

Zhangming explored the method of using single molecule fluorescence imaging for radium detection for this bachelor's thesis.
